ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY NETWORK

This network will:
-
​Provide regional means for dispensing and sharing information about assistive technology (AT) and augmentative alternative communication (AAC)
-
Build capacity within GRREC region so that its representatives will be leaders in their schools and districts
-
Disseminate best practices in developing systems in communication for students with various disabilities
-
Provide trainings on state-of-the-art practices and programs in AT and AAC
-
Keep districts abreast of materials, equipment and devices housed in the GRREC lending library
-
Assist districts in comparing various solutions of AT and AAC so they can make appropriate purchasing decisions
