Blick
With over 30 years of experience in education, Michelle Blick is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Special Education at GRREC. She began her career as a Learning and Behavior Disorders teacher for 17 years, and later worked as a SPED consultant for 5 years. Michelle then went on to serve as the Director of Special Education for 8 years, before assuming her current role.
Michelle holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Learning and Behavior Disorders K-12 from Western Kentucky University. She further pursued her education and obtained a Master's degree in Special Education, as well as a Rank 1 Director of Special Education certification.
Michelle is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children, a professional organization that focuses on advancing the education of individuals with exceptionalities.
As a seasoned special education educator, Michelle finds great satisfaction in assisting others in addressing student needs, and providing guidance in the development, implementation, and coordination of a district's special education program. Her vast experience and expertise in the field have proven invaluable to her colleagues and students alike.
In her free time, Michelle enjoys jazzercise classes, reading romance novels, spending time with her family/friends, and exploring cute boutiques and coffee shops.
