Sherlyn Bratcher is a dedicated education professional with an impressive academic background. She is currently working as an Social Emotional Learning Specialist at GRREC. She holds a Master of Arts in School Counseling, a Master of Science in Library Media Education, a Teacher Certification in Business and Marketing Education (6-12), and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, all from Western Kentucky University.

Sherlyn is an active member of professional organizations such as the Kentucky School Counselor Association and the American School Counselor Association. Within the KSCA, she serves as a board member, currently holding the position of PR/Technology Chair. In 2023, she will assume the role of President-Elect.

Aside from her academic and organizational achievements, Sherlyn is also an accomplished writer and has contributed to various publications throughout her career. She enjoys training and working with a diverse group of individuals, including school counselors, mental health professionals, teachers, administrators, and FRYSC personnel. They all share a common goal of helping students succeed.

Sherlyn finds the opportunity to continue learning and growing her knowledge the most fulfilling aspect of her work, which allows her to better assist others. She is a highly skilled educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students and the education community.
