Budziak
Lauren Budziak is an Assistive Technology and Communication Disorders Consultant at GRREC. She earned her Bachelor's degree in French and International Studies from the University of Dayton, followed by a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University. As a speech-language pathologist, Lauren has worked with students aged 3-21 in public school districts across Ohio and Kentucky. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and Kentucky Rank 1 certification.
Lauren is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, including its Special Interest Groups 12 (Augmentative-Alternative Communication) and 16 (School-Based Issues), as well as the Kentucky Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Her professional interests include augmentative-alternative communication, educational technology, workload and caseload management for SLPs, and literacy. Lauren is passionate about providing SLPs and other educators with equitable access to opportunities and resources, and finds great satisfaction in empowering them through training, coaching, consultation, and mentoring.
