Dr. Dale Goatley is the Elevate Academy Director and a valued member of the GRREC Team. With a strong commitment to providing equitable access to quality education in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Dale has achieved significant professional milestones throughout his career.

One of Dale's noteworthy accomplishments is securing over 14 million dollars in competitive grant funding to support a wide range of programs across the GRREC region. His dedication to advancing education is further demonstrated by his active involvement in the Elevate Academy Kentucky Educator Rank Change Program, which is widely regarded as the premier continuing education option.

Dale's educational background is impressive, with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Murray State University, a Master's degree in Education from Western Kentucky University, and further specialization through an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction and an Educational Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of the Cumberlands.

In addition to his work at GRREC, Dale maintains affiliations with various organizations. He serves as an Adjunct Professor and University Supervisor at the University of the Cumberlands, and is an active member of the Grants Professional Association and the National Science Teachers Association.

Dale has also made contributions to the field of education through his doctoral dissertation titled "Teacher Perceptions of Evidence-Based Practices to Raise Student Persistence in STEM Education." This research endeavor aims to enhance understanding of effective strategies that promote student engagement and persistence in STEM subjects.
