Harbison
Jason Harbison has over 25 years of experience as a visual communication specialist and art director in the corporate sector. He holds a BFA in Advertising Design/Visual Communications from the Columbus College of Art & Design and is currently completing his MFA in Graphic and Digital Media Technology at Arizona State University, with a focus on cross-media communications and AI.
Jason has played an instrumental role in building and maintaining multi-million-dollar national brands within both the textile and food service industries. His work has appeared in major North American retail spaces and restaurants, including Walmart, Target, Meijer, McDonald’s, and Dunkin’. His designs have also appeared in television and film productions, including The Office, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and 30 Rock.
For more than 15 years, Jason has served as both a co-instructor and lead adjunct instructor for various graphic and media design courses at Western Kentucky University. In 2024, he was nominated for WKU’s Part-Time Faculty of the Year award. He has led portfolio instruction and developed partnerships connecting his students with local businesses and organizations.
Jason has also served for over a decade as the public address announcer for WKU Baseball and occasionally fills in as PA announcer for the Bowling Green Hot Rods. From 2012 to 2024, he was the weekend host of a Cincinnati Reds affiliate radio show on ESPN 102.7 FM in Bowling Green.
In his spare time, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife, Antrina, and their daughter, Mackenzie. He also enjoys playing guitar and watching hockey and baseball.
