Harper
With over 17 years of experience teaching and coaching in grades 6-12, Dr. Audrey Harper brings a wealth of knowledge and a mindful approach to her role as EPIC Director. Her background in adolescent literacy and dialogical coaching, combined with her passion to help ALL students succeed and break down structural inequities for teachers and students, fuels her work. Audrey is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Communications and holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Western Kentucky University, as well as a Master of Education in English Education with Gifted & Literacy Endorsements.
Audrey has contributed to several publications, such as Developing the Teacher Sense of Efficacy for Secondary Literacy Instruction scale and Social Networking with Edmodo: Let Your Digital Footprints Lead the Way. She enjoys the challenge of finding creative solutions to educational tasks.
Audrey is passionate about her work in education and loves to find new ways to engage learners. She enjoys the challenge of creating innovative and engaging learning experiences. In her free time, she can be found with a cup of coffee in hand or working out in her garage home gym with her pink barbell and her husband. She is always looking for new ways to make learning fun and meaningful.
