
Dr. Stacie
Hutchison
Stacie Hutchison is a Transition Consultant who has extensive experience in special education. She spent over nine years teaching high school students with moderate to severe disabilities and is currently serving as an adjunct professor in Western Kentucky University's special education program. In 2021, Stacie was a finalist for the KY CEC Teacher of the Year and was also an inaugural member of the LEADS Academy.
Stacie's impressive educational background includes a BS in Special Education Learning/Behavioral Disorders K-12 and Moderate/Severe Disabilities K-12, an MAE and Rank I in School Counseling K-12, and she is currently pursuing a Director of Special Education certificate and an Ed.D. in educational leadership, all from Western Kentucky University.
She is an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children and the Council of Administrators of Special Education. Stacie finds joy in building networks of support for the educators and students she serves. One interesting fact about
