Martin
Nicole Martin is an Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience supporting children through individualized, meaningful therapeutic interventions. She earned degrees in Psychology and Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern Indiana. She began her career at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she delivered direct patient care and contributed to research initiatives supporting children with cancer and other medically complex conditions.
Currently, Nicole serves at GRREC, providing occupational therapy services to children ages 3–21. She also works as a special education consultant, collaborating closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure students have access to the general education curriculum. Nicole specializes in identifying skill delays and implementing practical, evidence-based interventions that support children’s developmental, academic, and functional success. Nicole is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), and the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Association (KOTA), and holds National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy. Nicole is deeply passionate about helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Her extensive experience, collaborative approach, and dedication to lifelong learning make her a trusted partner for families and educators alike.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys attending sporting events, reading, and spending time outdoors.
